FAQ
How Do I Place An Order?
If you see a knife you would like to purchase please contact me with the name and sheath options. If it is one of the production knives I try to have them ready to ship within a day or two. At that time I will only need to know what type of attachment you would like for the sheath.
Custom knives will usually take 4-6 weeks due to heat treat at this time.
Payment & Shipping
Shipping will be USPS flat rate box. Generally speaking, I am only shipping to US states. If you live somewhere else please contact me and we can discuss shipping options.
Secure Ordering & Payment Options
Currently using PayPal. I also have Apple Pay. Please just contact me for questions or concerns.
How are your knives heat treated
Currently, I use Peters Heat Treating for all my heat treatment at this time. I do not have the equipment to heat treat to the standard I would like for knives I am selling. They have been in business for a while and I have never had an issue with them. Unless otherwise noted all my knives are heat-treated to 59 RC with a cryo treatment. https://www.petersheattreat.com/
What coating do you use
Most of my knives will be coated in Moly Resin, which is a Thermal Curing coating. The company is an Arkansas based company and I have had good results with it so far. The coating is designed to keep the carbon steel from rusting, it also has the benefit of being chemical-proof and adds texture to the knife as well as giving them a matte finish. You can look into it more here, https://molyresin.com/
Returns & Refunds
If you are unhappy with the knife, sheath or any item you buy from me, or if there is an issue with material or workmanship please contact me and we will discuss refunding your money or replacing the item. If you use your knife in a legitimate self-defense case and it is seized for evidence let me know and we will see if we can get you another one.
Disclaimer
Each knife is hand made by me, therefore there will be some small variances between each knife. I do my best to make them the same but this is the nature of hand made items.
Knives are designed to be cutting tools, not be prybars, I design my knives to be robust but there is a limit to what you can expect from any knife. If you contact me saying a knife failed without abuse I'll work to make it right.
Legal issues, some knives have a sharpened secondary, false edge, or will qualify as a "dagger" which may or may not be legal in your state, please know your laws in reference to knife possession and carrying. If requested I can leave the spine as a false edge or completely flat. I am not legally responsible for what the owners of my knives do after they leave my shop.
